A Christchurch Design Story

Belle Interiors Collection began in 1978, when Colin Foggo recognised a gap in the market for enduring, timeless and functional furniture. What started as a project in his Christchurch garage grew into a brand, with a first showroom in the fashion district of Merivale that pushed the boundaries of design just as its furniture does today. Colin's background in interior design gave him a distinct perspective: that furniture should be shaped around how a space is actually used, considering the flow of a room, not just how a piece looks. Over the years Belle Interiors Collection evolved into the renowned contemporary style it is known for now, earning a reputation as one of New Zealand's most respected furniture names.

The Next Generation of Design

That legacy continues today under Colin's son, designer Cameron Foggo. Growing up immersed in the family's Christchurch furniture business, Cameron learned the craft alongside his father before establishing himself as an internationally recognised designer, now working with leading furniture brands around the world. His design philosophy is a simple one: that comfort matters as much as beauty. It is thinking that sits at the heart of the Belle Interiors Collection, where every piece balances refined, timeless design with genuine everyday comfort.
